About Me
Looking for a new change of direction in my life … I remember it like it was yesterday … In 2006, I was working my job as a Scholarship video coordinator for the University of Florida Women’s and Men’s Basketball Team. I was broke and burned out from working and traveling long hours with the team. It seem like the harder I work, the further behind I got. I decided enough was enough and it was time for me to take control of my life. In the summer of 2006, I resign from my job with the team, and was uncertain on which direction in life I was going to go in. All I knew is that I wanted to be a successful Entrepreneur, and I was going to do whatever it takes to make that happen, but before I resign from my job, one of my co-workers parents suggested that I read the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. I brought the book from Barnes & Noble, and it gave me a new outlook on life in regards to being a successful Entrepreneur. After I finished reading the book in a couple of hours, I made the decision right then to start my own business.
Game time decision …
So, since I made the decision to start my own business the next step was deciding which industry to start my business in. I had prior experience with eBay selling my personal items on there, and making a profit from them so I decided to go in that direction. Also, I had a friend who owned a factory overseas where I could buy authentic clothing items like Ecko, Phat Farm, Hollister, and Enyce for wholesale prices. Then, all I had to do was list them on eBay at bargain prices, and make a profit. I formed Fredrick Williams LLC in 2006, the rest was history, and I was in business for myself inside of my small apartment room making money the very first day I listed the clothing items on eBay. I was making good money for about a year until the spring of 2007, when I decided to end my eBay because my friend sold his factory, and I was graduating from the University of Florida that spring semester. During that full year of running my eBay business, I felt like I owned a job, and not a real business. If I didn’t work, I didn’t get paid. I was now stuck in the same position from year ago, and I knew it was going to be another hard game time decision but it was going to be one that had to be made.
Hot diggity, another game time decision …
I decided to go into the sports memorabilia business, and sell limited edition sports collector memorabilia items. I had a couple of contacts in the business and I also knew pro athletes who went to college with me at UF. I started off with a bang by doing over $100,000 in gross sales within less than a year in business. I know what you’re thinking, and no I didn’t get to keep all that money because there was business expenses involved but I did make myself a sizeable profit that year. I even brought myself a side cash flow vending machine business that ran on autopilot by serving little kids and grownups candy. The sports memorabilia business was going excellent for me until about a year later when I ran out stuff to sell, and I was officially Out of Business. I still had my vending machine business, and I was back to square one again. I think one is a number that sticks with me because my previous two businesses never made it past their first year anniversary. Okay, time to man up like Wolverine off X-Men, and make my third game time decision. This decision was going to the different because I going to actually stumble upon an opportunity off of the Internet.
Uncle MoFo life as a MLM/Network Marketer …
Okay, there is no Uncle MoFo, but I like the name better than I do mine , so stay with me because my story is coming to an end. In 2008, I was playing around on my roommate computer when I came across an Internet advertisement to a home business opportunity also known as MLM/Network Marketing. I clicked on the advertisement, and put in my contact information inside of the form on the website. I didn’t think no more about it, and within a couple of hours I got a call from the person who was advertising the home business opportunity. We instantly connected on the phone, and the rest was history because I officially had my own personal development mlm/network marketing business. I paid $1600 for the entry level personal development product, and then went on to spend over $15,000 in my business during the next year. I made one sale for $1,000 profit which I didn’t even get to keep because I had to pass up that sale to my sponsor in the business. Again, I’m not a mind reader, but I know what you’re thinking. I spent $15,000 so far in my business with Zero return on investment, I’m starting to think what is really going on here. I’m keeping a positive mindset, and being self-reliant because I made a decision to make it in the mlm/network marketing industry. I was not about to throw in the towel, and quit now. I’m faced with a lack of leads and cash-flow problem, and not to mention I had a top tier business opportunity, which means it cost a lot of $$ to start. Okay, I’m faced with a problem, so I need to focus on a solution to that problem right now.
Sha-Zaaam, paying the way forward to where I’m at now (present) …
Well, you want to know what solution I came up with to solve my lack of leads and business cash-flow problem. I will get to that very soon, but let me tell you what happened to the personal development company I was with. The owners decided to go their separate ways in business, and the company was closing down its doors for good. Moreover, one of the owners decided to go in his own direction and start his own life coaching company. I had to make a fast game time decision either to go with the new life coaching company or resign. I decided to resign, and focus on branding myself as a leader in this industry, and learning how to effectively market any business, product, or service on the Internet. Thanks to God, and him allowing me to meet my business partner Randy Chambliss, I’m now able to teach people this skill set through my Brand Yourself With Integrity internet marketing attraction system for mlm/network marketers, which allows people to receive more leads and cash-flow for their business. Our team is here to help you succeed in this mlm/network marketing industry, so let’s build a business relationship with each other right now….The End!
